Salary: VPS 3 $79,122 - $96,073 pa + 12% super

About the role:
You’ll be part of a dynamic team delivering EPA’s on-ground regulatory response across Regional Victoria. This includes education, compliance monitoring, inspections, and enforcement actions to manage non-compliance. You’ll play a key role in supporting EPA’s strategic priorities and contributing to a new era of environmental protection.
In this role you will:
- Deliver regulatory actions including inspections, monitoring, and enforcement to prevent harm from pollution and waste.
- Collaborate with co-regulators, duty holders, local governments, and communities to improve environmental and public health outcomes.
- Support investigations, compliance programs, and preventative projects aligned with EPA priorities.
- Respond to environmental and public health emergencies and incidents.
- Promote awareness of environmental laws and EPA’s role as Victoria’s independent regulator.
- Contribute to a high-performing, positive team culture and continuous improvement.
Skills and experience:
- Ability to work effectively in a team and deliver high-priority regulatory operations.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and procedures.
- Current Victorian driver’s licence and ability to travel as required.
- Completion (or willingness to complete) Authorised Officer and Field Response Officer training.
- Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to learning and innovation.
