About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to influence Victoria’s major transport, energy and earth resource projects, ensuring they align with EPA’s strategic priorities and regulatory framework to prevent harm from pollution and waste. You will provide authoritative technical and regulatory advice and work closely with proponents and government partners to deliver robust outcomes across all stages of complex, state‑significant projects.

 

In this role you will:

  • Lead and facilitate state‑significant infrastructure, energy and earth resource projects on behalf of EPA
  • Provide authoritative, timely technical and regulatory advice on the environment protection framework
  • Deliver EPA’s role in complex statutory processes, including Environmental Effects Statement pathways
  • Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with government agencies, proponents and stakeholders
  • Manage complex projects collaboratively to ensure accountable, high‑quality and timely outcomes

 

Skills and experience

  • Senior level experience in development advisory or regulatory roles, preferably within government. ‑level experience in development advisory or regulatory roles, preferably within government.
  • Strong capability in stakeholder engagement, communication and delivery of major or complex projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing technically complex matters within a regulatory or statutory framework.
  • A proven commitment to professionalism, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
