About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Integrity Advisor, the Integrity Officer provides high-quality operational support across integrity and compliance activities to support the planning and delivery of its program of work.

In this role you will:

  • ·   Conduct and assist with internal integrity and fraud-based reviews using the department’s operations and systems. Such activities will require considerable sensitivity and confidentiality to be applied.
  • ·   Prepare, proofread, and coordinate a variety of correspondence, reports, presentations and any other documents as required to a high quality. Such activities will involve the access and oversight of sensitive information.
  • ·   Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative compliance, particularly regarding fraud and corruption, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines for organizational integrity and transparency.
  • ·   Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders at various levels in a professional and friendly manner to support the achievement of team objectives.
  • ·   Oversee a variety of general administrative functions to support the Integrity team.

Skills and experience:

  • ·   Demonstrated experience working in a compliance, integrity or governance function within the public sector would be well regarded.
  • ·   Demonstrated experience working within a capability uplift or training and development capacity is desirable.
  • ·   Demonstrated experience or ability to working with confidential and sensitive information, and balancing a high level of discretion, judgement, and pragmatism.
  • ·   Proven experience in data reporting, including cleansing, analysing, modelling, interpreting, and visualizing both quantitative and qualitative data to generate risk-based insights is desirable.
  • ·    Well-developed verbal and written communication skills; able to prepare complex reports for senior management that effectively convey key messages in a meaningful way.
