About the Role:

You’ll deliver finance business partnering across EPA, supporting strong financial management and informed decision‑making in a complex, organisation‑wide environment. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll contribute to budgets, forecasting and governance that support EPA’s strategic and regulatory priorities.

 

In this role you will:

  • Provide expert financial advice, forecasting, modelling and analysis to support strategic and operational decision‑making
  • Partner with business areas across EPA to support budget development, business cases, project planning and evaluation
  • Assist in preparing high‑quality management and board reports, including variance analysis, insights and recommendations 
  • Contribute to EPA’s internal budgeting, forecasting and State Government budget processes
  • Support and uplift financial management capability across the organisation through strong business partnering
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, role‑modelling professionalism, integrity and collaboration

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, business or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in finance business partnering roles, with senior‑level exposure
  • Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial management frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively across diverse teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex financial information to senior stakeholders
  • Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling, forecasting and analysis
