Location: 664 Collins Street, Docklands - Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office)

About the Role:
You’ll deliver finance business partnering across EPA, supporting strong financial management and informed decision‑making in a complex, organisation‑wide environment. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll contribute to budgets, forecasting and governance that support EPA’s strategic and regulatory priorities.
In this role you will:
- Provide expert financial advice, forecasting, modelling and analysis to support strategic and operational decision‑making
- Partner with business areas across EPA to support budget development, business cases, project planning and evaluation
- Assist in preparing high‑quality management and board reports, including variance analysis, insights and recommendations
- Contribute to EPA’s internal budgeting, forecasting and State Government budget processes
- Support and uplift financial management capability across the organisation through strong business partnering
- Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, role‑modelling professionalism, integrity and collaboration
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, business or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in finance business partnering roles, with senior‑level exposure
- Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial management frameworks
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively across diverse teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex financial information to senior stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling, forecasting and analysis
