About the role:
You will coordinate the delivery of facilities management and security and fleet services across EPA Victoria to a high level. This role will actively drive compliance with building regulations, support sustainability initiatives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. You will proactively support the team in delivering facilities and fleet services and advice, aligned with EPA’s strategic priorities, while also focusing on process and cost efficiencies.
In this role you will:
- Manage the organisation's physical security requirements, including regular reporting and auditing of security systems, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Effectively perform and understand commercial emergency management procedures and requirements, ensuring preparedness and effective responses.
- Identify and manage a range of facilities services and be able to problem solve to resolve issues to a high standard of service delivery and ensure operational efficiency within compliance requirements.
- Provide support and perform tasks related to incident management, ensuring timely and effective resolution of incidents or urgent priority facilities matters, including acting as first point of contact outside of business hours.
- Support fleet management tasks, including vehicle onboarding/offboarding, service scheduling, and insurance management, ensuring efficient fleet operations.
Skills and experience:
- A relevant qualification in facilities or project management, or related discipline is desirable.
- Experience in procurement, and/or contract management is highly desirable.
- Experience and knowledge of Australian Standards with respect to Building Code Australia and Essential Services requirements is desirable.
- Proven ability to apply relevant legislation, regulations, reporting directives and procedures, to achieve optimal organisational outcomes.
